Daily 22: one board, one attempt, every day

Daily 22 is the one-attempt-a-day All 22 Football format: the same board for everyone, a fixed 17-game season, and one record to compare. Free, no account.

Daily 22 is the discipline version of the roster builder. Same 22 positions, same 1,025 players, same grading model — but one board and one simulation per day, on a schedule that every player shares. It is the format for people who like a score to be comparable.

The daily board below is the standard builder. Fill all 22 slots, then simulate once. Your record is the day's score, and a perfect season is the day's jackpot.

Why one attempt changes the way you draft

In a free build, variance is free: simulate, dislike the record, simulate again. When the season is a single roll, the maths inverts. A board built around a 74-grade tackle and a 51-grade edge rusher has a higher ceiling and a lower floor than a board built around 66-grade players at both. Over many sims the spiky board wins more total games; over one sim the flat board produces the better score more often, because it does not depend on one favourable week.

  1. Step 1

    Fill the shallow jobs early

Edge rusher, center and kicker have the thinnest pools in the game. On a one-attempt board you cannot come back later and fix a 40-grade slot, so take the scarce bodies while they are still available.

  2. Step 2

Then raise the floor, not the ceiling

Every slot pulls on the team average. Moving the weakest four slots from 45 to 60 grade is worth more than moving the strongest four from 68 to 74.

  3. Step 3

    Simulate once and post it

The daily is one roll. Record the number, export the lineup card, and compare. Rerolling defeats the point of a shared board.

The daily ladder

Because everyone plays the same schedule, the ladder is absolute rather than relative. These bands come from simulating the highest-graded board in the pool across 60,000 seasons: it averages about 13 wins and finishes undefeated roughly once in 130 attempts.

What a Daily 22 score means
RecordWhat it says about the board
17-0Perfect. The board had no weak slot and the season cooperated.
16-1One late road game went the wrong way. Usually a top-percentile board.
14-3 to 15-2The standard for a board that cleared every thin position.
11-5 to 13-4A strong board with one or two slots well below the rest.
8-9 to 10-7Deep problems: a wrong body type somewhere in the interior, or a rush job at edge.
7-10 or worseBuilt from leftovers. Rebuild the floor before chasing the ceiling.

Boards on the wall from today

Finished daily boards can be published as lineup cards — 22 names, the offensive and defensive grades, and the final record. Here is what has landed so far.

If your first daily run went badly, the fastest way to improve is to read what each of the 22 positions actually grades, then check the common all-22 mistakes list before tomorrow's board.

Daily 22 FAQ

What is Daily 22?

Daily 22 is the daily-challenge format of All 22 Football. Every player in the world gets the same board on the same day: the same league order, the same 17-week schedule and the same seed. You fill all 22 positions once, simulate the season once, and your record is directly comparable with everyone else's — no rerolls, no second attempt until tomorrow.

How is the daily board different from a free build?

A free build lets you simulate as many times as you like with a new seed each run, so you can keep rolling until the schedule is kind. The daily board removes that option. Because you only get one simulation, a board that is merely good often beats one that gambled on pure ceiling — consistency is the whole scoring model.

When does the daily reset?

Daily 22 resets at 00:00 UTC. The day's league order, style restrictions and seed are derived from the date itself, so nothing has to be published for the challenge to start — you can play offline and still be solving the same board as everyone else.

Do I need an account to play the daily?

No. The daily board uses the same free roster builder and stores your result in your own browser. Publishing a finished lineup card to the community wall is optional and asks for no email address.
